Field Trips

Starworks Glass welcomes hundreds of students each year for glassblowing demonstrations that highlight the science and teamwork behind glassblowing. Schools with financial hardships may request the demonstration fee be waived or subsidized. Donations from our supporters allow us to honor these requests so that all students in our area can witness the magic of glassblowing. Click the image to learn more about field trips to Starworks.

High School Glassblowing Classes

Local high school students at participating schools can take glass blowing classes from our qualified educators as part of their curriculum. The semester is split equally between glassblowing and ceramic art with students earning an art credit at the end of the semester. Starworks provides one of the very few high school glass blowing classes offered in the United States.

Workshops and Classes

We offer several glass workshops and classes throughout the year ranging from Make Your Own Paperweight, Pumpkin, Flower, etc. to a full day of Hot Glass Fundamentals. Most of our classes require no prior glass experience. Click on the photo to learn more about educational opportunities at Starworks.
