Join us for the last Hot Glass Cold Beer of the season on May 9! STARworks Glass director Joe Grant will lead the STARworks Glass team in creating a sculpture from his recent body of work inspired by the idea of “Fantastical Fauna.” The collection features intuitive forms developed from the imagination but roused by the real world. Using both traditional and unconventional glassmaking techniques, Joe will make a piece that explores the textures, colors and optics of hot glass.
Those who are 21 and older can purchase locally brewed beer or wine from the bar in the glass studio or the STARworks Café & Taproom. Purchase a drinking glass or ceramic tumbler from the School House Gallery and the price of a beverage of your choice is included in the price. Drinks can also be purchased at the bar. The One Nine Drive food truck on site. Live at the Café following the glassblowing demo.
