Jennifer Crescuillo, Ju-Ian Shen, and Marc Jeannin Artist Talks

Artist talks are free and open to all ages. Open Mic Night in the STARworks Café & Taproom following talks. Coffees, smoothies, beer, wine, snacks and sandwiches are available in the cafe.
Jennifer Crescuillo
Jennifer Crescuillo is an internationally exhibited artist currently living and working in Silver Point, Tennessee with her family. She received her Master’s of Fine Art in Glass at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has worked and taught at various institutions including Tennessee Tech University, The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, and Urban Glass. Her work has been included in New Glass Review 34, 36, and 38, and she has been a Wheaton Arts Fellow and an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School. In addition to teaching, Jennifer operates High Polish Studio specializing in custom glass fabrication and cold working services.
Ju-Ian Shen
Ju-Ian Shen is a ceramic artist native to Taiwan, she came to North Carolina State University, College of Design for graduate study in Landscape Architecture. Ju-Ian Shen took up pottery as a hobby in early 2000’s after seeing the NCECA exhibitions in Charlotte. Since her retirement from 30 plus years of practice as a landscape architect, she is continuing on learning and making art.
Marc Jeannin
Marc Jeannin is a ceramic artist with an interest in alternative firing techniques such as Raku, Pit, Wood Firing, High Fire Gas, and electric. He graduated from Austin University with his BA. After college Marc participated in a work-study residency at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and a residency at Cub Creek Foundation. He is currently in Austin, Texas working full time at Feats of Clay Pottery as their back of house manager.
