Love is Alive Dance
Friday April 1, 5pm
A dance duet performed by Patrick Osteen and Allison Kauffman.
Allison Kauffman is from Asheboro, NC but currently attends UNC-Chapel
Hill for her Master of Arts in Teaching for secondary science. She
also earned her bachelors degree there in chemistry and cheered on the
Tar Heels as a 4-year member of the Carolina Girl Dance Team. Allison
trained at Pointe South Dance & Tumble under Kelly Freeman and teaches
when she visits home. Allison also teaches at Renner Dance Company in
Chapel Hill, is the graduate assistant for the dance team, and trains
prospective dance team members as a PrepMaster for College Dance Prep.
This summer, Allison helped with Rhinoleap’s production of the Putnam
County Spelling Bee while also working as an adventure counselor at
Victory Junction. This is Allison’s first time back performing since
the spring of 2020.
Patrick Osteen lives in Asheboro, NC and is a co-founder and the
Associate Artistic Director of RhinoLeap Productions. He has appeared
in RhinoLeap’s productions of An Iliad, Mary’s Wedding, Company K,
Leaving Eden, Paris Through the Window, The Glass Menagerie and The
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Over the last four years,
Patrick has been teaching acting, puppetry, movement and improvisation
to high school students all over North Carolina. Outside of North
Carolina, he has performed all over the United States including
appearing in the international tour of Cirque Du Soleil’s Toruk and
the Broadway National Tour of War Horse. Patrick has a BFA from the
University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
