Welding Basics Introductory Workshop
Saturday, April 23, 9am - 4pm
This class is designed as an introductory welding experience. Over the course of this one day workshop participants will gain first hand exposure to a variety of welding processes. Welding is an extremely versatile process that lends itself to a multitude of applications for garage or studio work.
This class will cover safety, tools, welding processes as well as the basics of metal fabrication. Students will finish the class with the basic knowledge of how to weld steel in their garage, home or studio setting. Participants will be provided with metal for practicing welding, but are encouraged to bring steel items of their own to experiment with. This is one day workshop and no experience required.
Must be 16 or older.
OPTIONS FOR SUBMITTING VACCINE VERIFICATION
Once you select March 12th & 19th from the calendar below and register for your class, you will be able to choose from the following options.
Vaccine verification must be done a minimum of seven days prior to your class. If we have not received verification by that time, you will be dropped from the class and your registration fee will be refunded.
UPLOAD PHOTO
Upload a photo of your Covid vaccination card. Use something to block personal information like your birthday and patient number, and the vaccine lot number, but make sure your name and vaccination dates are visible (see photo). Photos will be deleted after vaccine confirmation.
EMAIL PHOTO
You can email a photo of your Covid vaccination card to gracie@starworksnc.org.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.
SAFETY
Participants must wear closed toe shoes and natural fibers
Participants must be vaccinated against Covid 19.
Participants must wear masks
Participants must be 16 or older
Hand sanitizer is available for use before and after your session
We are following CDC guidelines regarding the Covid 19 pandemic. Our requirements for visiting may change accordingly.

Class is $200
Class size is limited. Advance registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration
