Hot Glass Cold Beer with Jackie Polofka

STARworks Glass production glassblower Jackie Polofka will create a giant glass ice cream cone with assistance from the STARworks Glass team. Casey Noel will be performing live in the cafe following the demonstration. Smokehouse Mobile Bistro will be on site.

Masks are also required inside the STARworks building unless you are seated in the cafe or the glass studio.

Tickets are available by reservation only. You can register by selecting March 10 from the calendar at the bottom of the page or by calling 910-428-9001. We are charging a small fee (only $5!) to reserve seating. You get your first drink FREE when you get here and show us your vax card. You can use your free drink coupon for beer or wine if you’re 21 and older, or for coffee, smoothies, etc for all ages.

Jackie Polofka

Jackie Polofka is a STARworks Glass production glassblower. She was born and raised in northwest Ohio and holds a BFA in three-dimensional studies from Bowling Green State University. Before joining the STARworks team, Jackie worked at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY and the Chrysler Museum of Art Glass Studio in Norfolk, VA. She has shown her work in multiple exhibitions, most notably in the Momentum Juried Exhibition in Toledo, OH in 2017 and was awarded third place in the Glass Arts Society International Student Online Exhibition in 2016.
