Hot Glass Cold Beer with Sarah Band

STARworks gallery assistant Sarah Band will perform an exciting glassblowing demonstration with assistance form the STARworks Glass team. Live music by Wake Moody in the cafe following the demonstration. Everything Rolled Food Truck will be on site.

Tickets are available by reservation only. You can register by selecting May 12 from the calendar at the bottom of the page or by calling 910-428-9001. We are charging a small fee (only $5!) to reserve seating. You get your first drink FREE when you get here. You can use your free drink coupon for beer or wine if you’re 21 and older, or for coffee, smoothies, etc for all ages.

Sarah Band

Sarah Band is a glass and mixed media artist that creates sculptures inspired by science, anatomy and the macabre. Science has always been a part of Sarah’s life, being originally from California’s Silicon Valley and from a family of physicists. She first came to North Carolina in 2014 as a Starworks intern. She then helped run The Olio, in Winston-Salem, as their Artistic Director for six years. Currently, Sarah is working at Starworks as a Gallery Assistant and lives in Seagrove, NC. She runs a business selling her own artwork, Sarah A Band, and co-runs a business with her life partner Day, Sarah and Day.
