Intermediate Metal Fabrication

Saturday, June 17, 9am - 4pm

The intermediate metal fabrication class is designed as a follow up to the welding basics course. Students who have taken the basics class can take this course to advance their skills in metal fabrication. We will take a more in depth look at welding processes as well as other aspects of metal fabrication. This course will focus on developing fabrication skills that pertain to each student’s practical needs. Work with instructor, Mac Metz, to make sculpture, functional objects or simply continue to practice and hone welding skills. Some material will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring steel items to work on or practice with. Participants will finish the course with items to take home.
