Featured artist Clayton Benefiel of Godspeed Glassworks will join the talented artists at Starworks Glass for a fiery demonstration Thursday, February 8 at 5:30pm. Hot Glass Cold Beer is a monthly glass demonstration that runs September – May with special guest artists, live music, rotating food trucks, and beer & wine. This is a family friendly event for all ages!

Event admission is by ticketed reservation only. You can register by selecting February 8 from the calendar at the bottom of the page or by calling 910-428-9001. Cost of admission $5. Beer and wine can be purchased separately from the studio bar or in the Starworks Cafe. Large selection of glassware available for purchase through School House Gallery.

Live Music: Rod Brady & Rusted Luck
Rod Brady & Rusted Luck are an Americana/Rock trio consisting of Rod Brady (lead vocals/guitar), Charlie Peek (fiddle) and Vince Parham (percussion/backing vocals).
Performing original & cover material, this North Carolina based band delivers a powerful, impassioned musical experience ranging from Americana Roots to Rock with a soulful vocal delivery.
No two shows are ever the same, you never know what you might hear: cover songs remade in an original style, more traditional versions of your favorites or original songs that cover the spectrum of Brady’s 25 years of writing evolution. Parham’s intuitive, expressive percussion and backing vocals along with Peek’s versatile, often hypnotic string accompaniment round out the charging and often emotional landscape of the Rusted Luck sound.
