Make Your Own Spring Planter
Ceramic coil & Hand Building Workshop
May 11, 10am-12pm
Learn the fundamentals of coil building & hand building to create your own ceramic planter, using Starworks Wild Clay!
Students will be provided 5lbs of Starworks Wild NC Clay, made right here in our own factory, in addition to all necessary tools, glaze options, and kiln firing.
All ages welcome! Children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Student work will be dried, fired, and glazed for you after the workshop. Finished work will be available for pick-up 1 month after the workshop. Items can be picked up in the School House Gallery during regular business hours, Monday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm. Shipping is available for an additional charge. Payment for shipping is made in person at the School House Gallery during check in on May 11.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session to check in. Class will be held in the Starworks Clay Studio. Check in at the School House Gallery at Starworks. (Main Entrance)
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.

About Your Instructor:
Bo Gilbert is a two year clay factory intern at Starworks. They earned a degree in Art Education with a certificate in Theatre and Drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They pursued a path of ceramics education through their time in Madison where they taught ceramics workshops at the Chazen Museum of Art, developed two solo exhibitions of their figurative work, and worked as a studio assistant in the UW-Madison ceramics and art metals studios.
