Welding Basics Introductory Workshop

About the Workshop: This class is designed as an introductory welding experience. Over the course of this one day workshop participants will gain first hand exposure to a variety of welding processes.  Welding is an extremely versatile process that lends itself to a multitude of applications for garage or studio work. This class will cover safety, tools, welding processes as well as the basics of metal fabrication. Students will finish the class with the basic knowledge of how to weld steel in their garage, home or studio setting.  This course is designed for beginners with little to no welding exposure. Participants will be provided with metal for practicing welding, but are encouraged to bring steel items of their own to experiment with.  This is one day workshop and no experience required.Must be 16+.

Cost: $250 per student, space is limited. Register below.

Time: 9am-5pm (including lunch break, lunch not provided, cafe on site)

Safety: Students must wear protective clothing such as closed toed shoes or boots and cotton denim pants. Instructor reserves the right to refuse any student from participating for not wearing these items. Please refrain until after your hands on workshop to enjoy an alcoholic beverage from our Cafe & Taproom. Please note that studio temps may be high during warmer months, and while using metalworking equipment. We encourage you to drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed.

Check In & Cancellations: Check in at the School House Gallery at Starworks. (Main Entrance) Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.
