Chapel Hill, NC artist Wake Moody blends R&B, rock, and modern pop, crafting 'almost-love songs' that explore conflicted emotions beneath feel-good vibes. Influenced by Frank Ocean, Earth Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder, his music reflects the classic soul and rock records of his youth.

Moody’s live shows feature hypnotic grooves and vocal harmonies, captivating audiences with a mix of originals and covers. His debut EP, Shivers, released in 2019, was followed by We’re So Above It Now, funded by a grant from the Durham Arts Council and North Carolina Arts Council.
