Embellished Moments

Ceramic Exhibition with Sarah Dassouki, David Kwak, and Reese Nguyen.

Over the past year, these rising ceramic artists have explored local North Carolina clays, developed new methods and practices, assisted visiting artists, supported wild clay production, and contributed to the vibrant Starworks community. Join their farewell exhibition as these artists complete their year-long internships.

This immersive exhibition features luminous and light-bending works from the Starworks permanent collection, displayed alongside new pieces by visiting artists. Experience the glow in a dimmed gallery setting designed to highlight the radiance of each piece.

Starworks Glass Pumpkin Patch

Join us opening day, September 20, for glass blowing demonstrations, live music, food trucks, and to meet the artists behind the pumpkins!

These pumpkins don’t just look good on your mantle — All proceeds from the Glass Pumpkin Patch support educational programming and internships at Starworks throughout the year.

Want to shop early this year? Donors of $250 or more shop as early as Sept 13.

Join us as we raise a glass to craft, connection, and a milestone moment in Starworks’ journey.

Featuring special guest artists, live entertainment, a fabulous luncheon, silent auction, and our stunning "Maker's Dozen" live auction, showcasing 13 specially curated works of art!


WNC Artist RELIEF Residencies

This is a need-based opportunity for Western North Carolina artists in glass, ceramics, and metal. Starworks is offering short-term residencies in 2025 to provide artists affected by natural disasters with space, assistance, and resources to meet upcoming deadlines.
