Welding Basics Introductory Workshop

This workshop is designed as an introductory welding experience! Over the course of this one day workshop participants will gain first hand exposure to a variety of welding processes. 

This class will cover safety, tools, welding processes as well as the basics of metal fabrication. Students will finish the class with the basic knowledge of how to weld steel in their garage, home or studio setting.  Participants will be provided with metal for practicing welding, but are encouraged to bring steel items of their own to experiment with. 

Must be 16 or older; no experience required. Protective gear will be provided, however students must wear cotton denim pants and closed toed shoes/boots in order to participate. Instructors reserve the right to refuse participation if proper attire is not worn.

This workshop is 9am-3pm with a 1 hour break for lunch. Lunch is not provided but food is available at the Starworks Cafe & Taproom.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date may not be refunded.

  • Class size is limited. Advance registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration
