Dean Leeper is currently Starwork’s ceramic resident artist.

Dean is a ceramic artist from Madison, Wisconsin. Although from the Midwest, much of Dean’s childhood was spent traveling and living overseas in Europe and Africa. These experiences of travel have influenced his current art and can be seen as a personal mode of questioning and understanding the idea of place.

Dean received his Bachelor of Arts from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky and received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana in 2019.
